As a privately owned and operated facility, The Colony ER Hospital was established in 2017 within the Nutex Health (NASDAQ: NUTX) network with a goal of increasing consumer convenience and rapid access to care. Formally a dedicated Free-Standing Emergency Room, The Colony ER Hospital wanted to keep “ER” in its name because of its specialty. Our facility is licensed by the State of Texas’ Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and fully accredited by The Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ).
Our physicians have an average of 20 years of emergency department experience, and they are skilled in leading the healthcare team in the provision of expert care. Additionally, we also have many amenities that make our patients and their families feel comfortable. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond to make our patients and their families and friends feel welcome and at ease
