Krista Ryan completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Science with an emphasis on Human Nutrition and Food Science and later went on to complete her Master’s Degree of Science in Nutrition at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. She combined this with a Dietetic Internship at various locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. With over 7 years of experience as a Registered/Licensed Dietitian and specializing in clinical Nutrition as a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician for the past 3 years, Krista began her career at Parkland Health and Hospital Systems. Her past experiences include teaching Nutrition to culinary students as a Professor at the Art Institute of Washington. Krista’s work passion is in the clinical nutrition field and teaching and helping others find their path to healthier lifestyles through community involvement. Additionally, Krista Ryan is an active member of the Frisco Sunrise Rotary Club Foundation, currently serving as President-Elect to become President for the 2018-2019 rotary year. Participation in community involvement via rotary has become part of her way to give back to the community locally and internationally.
